Sugarcane Burger Clam 6x6x3 Inch (50)

$11.55

Size 152 x 152 x 76mm (Pack of 50)

The Vanguard sugarcane Clamshells are a more sustainable alternative to traditional petroleum-derived plastics or EPS foam. Sturdy, stackable and versatile, these clamshells can handle a wide variety of foods. Removing the added PFAS chemicals can reduce the level of grease resistance, so we recommend testing in your own operating environment.

  • No added PFAS (per and polyflouroalkyl substances)
  • Made from moulded sugarcane (bagasse), a rapidly renewable resource
  • Strong, sturdy, grease and cut resistant
  • Microwave, oven, fridge and freezer safe. Ovenable to 220C for 20 minutes. Test in your own operating environment.
  • Sugarcane can handle contact with liquid and oil, making it ideal for greasy take away and saucy foods
  • Safe for use with both hot and cold foods
  • Breathability of the sugarcane fibre keeps food crisp
  • Retains food temperature
  • A molded base means the clams are readily stackable
  • Grease and cut resistant. Note: grease resistance with no added PFAS sugarcane may be less than that achieved with standard formulations, so we recommend testing in your own environment
  • Sugarcane products are made from rapidly renewable resources, not oil
