AUS-ION™ is perfect for all of your everyday oil/fat-based frying, grilling, searing and baking needs - eg. sear a steak on the cooktop, then transfer the whole pan to the oven to finish like the pro's, or get that restaurant-quality crispy skin on fish or duck in the same way (ie. start skin down on the stove, flip the poultry/fish and transfer the whole pan to the oven to finish) - put simply, there are just so many mouth-watering results you can easily achieve with quality iron cookware. Our natural, clean iron (ie. impurity-free) AUS-ION™ range cooks and seasons like all bare cast iron cookware but is around half the weight of traditional cast iron. Seasoned iron is the only known non-toxic and forever-renewable non-stick cookware. All other non-stick cookware is made with toxic and/or disposable (synthetic or short-lived) coatings.
