A utility knife is an all-purpose knife that is typically larger than a paring knife but smaller than a slicing knife. Usually these knives measure between 12cm and 16cm on the blade. The utility knife can be used to carve, slice, bone and fillet but is typically used for cutting small fruits and vegetables.
